As an Asset Management Program Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Leased Asset Management global team's work in a variety of areas of contract and portfolio management across Google's real estate portfolio of third-party (leased) data center assets. The team proactively manages the leased real estate portfolio to enable faster and cheaper delivery of capacity across the globe, position the portfolio for future growth or exits, and mitigate risks by working with partner teams to identify trends early and implement measures to address them. You will work across time zones, geographical borders, and with internal and external cross-functional partners. The Leased Asset Management program is responsible for all activities post contract (lease) signature, maintains the single source of truth for all executed third-party data center contracts (3PDC), and is the gateway to managing the ongoing obligations that result out of these 3PDC contracts that supply capacity into the overall Google space/power portfolio. This role requires a keen understanding of real estate asset management and the ability to navigate complex contractual obligations while ensuring compliance and efficiency in operations. In this position, you will assist with the management of third-party data center service provider relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and assisting with service provider business reviews. This includes gathering internal stakeholder input, developing review packages, and managing resulting action items with cross-functional internal teams. You will also be responsible for abstracting, validating, and ensuring the accuracy of data in leased asset database systems, aligning with internal stakeholders on reporting needs, and delivering data to partner teams. Additionally, you will document, maintain, and improve existing business processes, and facilitate the processing of contract notices, renewals, and amendments. Your role will also involve tracking third-party data center purchase order creations, ensuring timely payment of invoices, and managing annual funding approvals.
