About the position

The Program Manager for Literacy is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing literacy programs at Texas Tech University. Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategic planning and manage program files.
  • Establish program standards and objectives, directing logistical activities to promote program success.
  • Develop and implement project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Oversee program budget and ensure goals and objectives of grants are met.
  • Assist in proposal writing and analyze program statistics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and four years of experience developing or managing programs or projects.
  • Additional job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in English or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
