About the position

The Program Manager for Logistics at Photon will oversee large-scale logistics programs, focusing on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and cross-functional projects. This role requires the application of established project management methodologies to enhance operational efficiencies in logistics, including managing integrations and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Drive large complex programs using standard lifecycle program management methodologies.
  • Leverage project management tools like JIRA and Rally to manage complex scopes of work.
  • Lead discussions with business users and product owners to groom business requirements for Supply Chain and Logistics systems.
  • Manage activities for out-of-the-box configuration versus customized extensions in the WMOS system.
  • Ensure timely identification and resolution of MOD Specifications and design gaps.
  • Manage integration touchpoints between WMOS and upstream/downstream systems.
  • Oversee development and QA of Microservices based interfaces and reports for supply chain systems.
  • Perform financial management of the project including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and ensure quality control.
  • Communicate project information to all stakeholders and anticipate strategic impacts to projects.
  • Establish and lead high-performance cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's in Computer Science Applications or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of Project/Program management experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, and Retail.
  • Deep technical understanding of Logistics IT systems and architecture.
  • Experience working with technical developers on deliverables.
  • Proven experience in managing large programs in the Retail and/or Logistics space.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems like Manhattan or relevant packages.
  • Experience in project estimating, budgeting tools, and defect tracking.
  • Ability to create roadmaps and drive progress on projects.
  • Strong analytical abilities and interest in using data for decision-making.
