About the position

As a Full-Time Mental Health Professional at our organization, you will oversee the coordination and administration of assigned programs, ensuring compliance with various standards and regulations. This role emphasizes the growth and well-being of both team members and clients, providing opportunities for career advancement and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee program operations to achieve compliance with contract requirements, accreditation, licensing, and monitoring standards.
  • Monitor direct costs and manage within pre-established budget.
  • Examine all spending to ensure cost effectiveness/effectiveness.
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly staff engagement reports and provide training to ensure proper coding, billing, and accurate/timely documentation of all member services.
  • Responsible for hiring highly skilled talent and managing staff performance, training, and evaluations.
  • Schedule staff in accordance with business needs and member needs/preferences.
  • Provide oversight and support for care plan/ISP requirements regarding intake, assessments, annual reviews, and discharges.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and agency committees as assigned.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all audits, inspections, and investigations.
  • Ensure Incident Reports are completed and filed within designated timelines.
  • Provide monthly clinical supervision in accordance with Copa and licensing standards.
  • Develop and direct program functions and objectives, collect performance data, and recommend program/plan changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess, develop, and modify programs to meet member needs.
  • Adhere to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration evidenced based practices.
  • Serve as the representative at all care planning meetings.
  • Provide required written and oral reports to align with meeting outcomes.
  • Coordinate care daily for individuals served with Copa staff, clinical teams, guardians, and advocates.
  • Provide on-call and rotational support to manage individuals served.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or equivalent education and experience required.
  • Two (2) years' experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a human services profession, such as psychology, family development, or social services is required.
  • Must be able to obtain Direct Access Clearance System (DACS) with the Utah Department of Health and Human Services.
