About the position

The Maintenance and Reliability Program Manager at Agropur is responsible for supporting and implementing best practices in maintenance and reliability across various production sites. This role aims to foster a culture of operational excellence, enhance equipment availability, and improve overall operational efficiency. The position involves significant travel to multiple plant locations to lead initiatives that maximize equipment sustainability and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate plant improvement activities, including the development and optimization of maintenance plans.
• Support Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Progressive Maintenance (PM) pillars, and assist in the deployment of Reliability Transformation Teams (RTT).
• Contribute to the development of managerial skills related to work management, equipment reliability, and asset management.
• Perform audits of Maintenance and Reliability best practices to monitor site maturity and identify improvement opportunities.
• Guide plants in developing 90-day plans to enhance productivity and equipment availability.
• Define, archive, update, and publish maintenance and reliability performance indicators.
• Support plants in preparing strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives for the Reliability pillar.
• Assist plants during the deployment of emergency reliability assistance plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance and implementation of preventive maintenance and reliability programs required.
• Proficiency in Office suite and reporting tools, as well as various CMMS software packages required.
• Comfortable with the continuous improvement process and knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of French (especially for positions in Quebec).
