About the position

The Program Manager for Maneuver Dominance at Anduril Industries is responsible for leading technical programs that develop aerial robotic systems for military applications. This role involves managing a growing engineering team, executing programs from design to deployment, and fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. The position requires a deep understanding of military needs and the ability to integrate advanced technologies into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and lead a portion of the Virtual Warfare team focused on wargaming and analysis products.
  • Lead, manage, and execute technical programs from design through to deployment.
  • Integrate into Anduril's processes and build relationships across business lines.
  • Provide insights into customer needs and develop solutions accordingly.
  • Partner with engineering leaders to drive program execution and team velocity.
  • Build trust with teammates, vendors, and customers through effective communication.
  • Forge customer relationships and establish new areas of interest.
  • Execute on broad requirements from various stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
  • Coordinate and execute test events involving software and hardware.
  • Manage cross-team projects and instill efficient project management practices.
  • Identify and resolve key cross-team dependencies.
  • Collaborate with partner teams such as hardware and product teams.
  • Remove obstacles to drive clarity and progress in projects.
  • Understand technical implementation and propose alternatives when necessary.
  • Connect product development with mission and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Physics, Engineering or applicable discipline.
  • 5+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Manager, or similar role.
  • Deep familiarity with rotorcraft and military customers.
  • Experience leading products/programs in military and technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with DoD, Drones, HMIs, Mesh Radios, eVTOL, urban Air Mobility.
  • Ability to establish cross-functional relationships and solve problems proactively.
  • Experience delivering technology to government organizations or large institutions.
  • Solid technical aptitude and understanding of software development lifecycle.
  • Strong experience in project management and technologies like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Ability to work with minimal structure and direction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel 50%, including some international travel.

Nice-to-haves

  • 8+ years experience in autonomous systems, robotics, or software development.
  • Significant customer-facing experience with high-profile programs.
  • Experience with Defense Acquisition Processes.
  • Experience in building programs for software deliverables.
