About the position

The Program Manager (Manufacturing) role is focused on overseeing multiple project activities to accomplish strategic objectives within a contract manufacturing environment. This position requires interfacing with customers to understand their requirements, preparing quotations, managing purchase orders, and coordinating with engineering to meet customer product needs. The role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to manage various tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple project activities to accomplish strategic objectives.
• Interface with customers on job requirements and RFQs.
• Prepare quotations in response to RFQs.
• Accept purchase orders and schedule jobs.
• Perform duties of Buyer/Planner.
• Provide input for production scheduling.
• Work with engineering on job-specific requirements and customer product needs.
• Ship and invoice products.
• Support customer requirements and demands with various tasks.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role as a program manager for a contract manufacturing company.
• Electronic component purchasing experience is required.
• Familiarity or proficiency in Excel is necessary.
• Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through are essential.
• Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with customers.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a U.S. Person per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in manufacturing (1 year preferred).
• Experience in program management (1 year preferred).
