About the position

The Program Manager at AST LLC is a pivotal role responsible for guiding key client projects to successful completion, utilizing various project management methodologies, including Agile. This position involves crafting comprehensive project plans, managing project scope, timeline, and budget, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration among project teams and clients. The Program Manager will also oversee financial management, resource allocation, and risk management, while supporting client management and pre-sales activities.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of various project management methodologies, including Agile, to develop or adapt project approaches suitable for each client's needs.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring the focused delivery of clients' priority change initiatives through the application of appropriate methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans with keen focus on scope, timeline, and budget management.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings to ensure project milestones are being met and maintain project momentum.
  • Handle comprehensive financial management, overseeing budgeting and financial reporting from Work in Progress (WIP) to billing and collections.
  • Develop strategies for resource allocation and optimization, ensuring the right resources are assigned to appropriate projects and tasks.
  • Issue and Risk Management - facilitate the resolution of issues and roadblocks, implementing proactive strategies to prevent project stalls.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks, devising mitigation and contingency plans as necessary.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs, using appropriate verification techniques to maintain alignment with objectives.
  • Client Management and Pre-sales Support including collaborating closely with Sales and Account Management teams on change requests and statements of work, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of hands-on NetSuite configuration and consulting/administration experience
  • 5+ full cycle implementations
  • Strong Program Manager role experience, including a significant portfolio of full lifecycle NetSuite solutions or comparable software delivery implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable world-class software solutions
  • Strong client management skills and the ability to develop and manage an implementation plan.
  • Formal Project Management methodology training, with significant practical use.
  • Certifications such as the PMP are a plus including NetSuite Certifications is heavily preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills including conflict resolution and Change Management skills
  • Ability to successfully manage client and team interactions and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated organizational, project management, and time management skills.
  • Extensive familiarity with data migration plans and procedures; hands-on experience with completing Go-Live cutover data loads.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a virtual environment
  • Proficient in steering cross-functional collaboration and fostering a positive team culture.
