About The Position
The Program Manager will oversee the planning, direction, and success of major programs, systems development efforts, or research and technology initiatives within the Department of Defense. This role requires leveraging expertise to create and guide programs in areas lacking existing guidelines, ensuring effective execution and achievement of program objectives. The Program Manager will define, organize, and direct the program, including developing long- and short-term plans to meet program goals, while also formulating and directing the technical approach, negotiating resources, milestone schedules, and budgets with command personnel.
