About the position

The Program Manager at Amistades, Inc. is responsible for overseeing multiple programs within the organization, ensuring they align with community needs and funder priorities. This role involves managing all aspects of program life, from initiation to closure, while promoting cultural inclusivity and compliance with grant requirements. The Program Manager will engage with community stakeholders, conduct outreach, and facilitate training, all while maintaining strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure programs utilize evidence-based practices and reflect cultural inclusivity.
  • Conduct program implementation including management, reporting, and performance evaluation.
  • Administer and collect required program evaluation data.
  • Conduct presentations, surveys, meetings, and focus groups in community settings.
  • Develop and maintain data and record-keeping systems for participant files and resources.
  • Enhance collaborative relationships with stakeholders and the community through regular communication.
  • Travel regularly for community outreach and partner meetings.
  • Communicate with grant project officers and promote the agency's mission.
  • Facilitate the incorporation of Chicano History and culture within programming.
  • Assist in identifying funding sources for agency sustainability and participate in grant writing.
  • Submit daily written reports to supervisors and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of administrative and program management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in social work, social services, public health, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Consent to random drug testing.
  • Current automobile insurance of $100,000/$300,000.
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Reliable transportation and valid Arizona Driver's License.
  • Valid Arizona Department of Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
