About the position

A client of Insight Globals is currently hiring a Program Manager for an 11-month contract to perform site audits for Operations Readiness Testing. This role is crucial as it involves traveling to various sites once construction and development are complete to conduct pre-launch site audits, ensuring that everything is ready to be handed off to operations. The Program Manager will lead the testing process and assist in the audit, leveraging operators who are familiar with the buildings to evaluate whether the buildings meet the designed specifications. This position requires strong partnerships with both onsite personnel and internal teams, necessitating excellent communication and collaboration skills. The travel schedule for this position is significant, with approximately 80% travel expected, primarily from Monday to Thursday most weeks. The company compensates for travel time, specifically during transit to and from sites. This role is not only about managing the audits but also about ensuring that the operations team is fully prepared for the transition, making it a vital part of the operational readiness process. The Program Manager will need to be adaptable, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the site audits are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site audits for Operations Readiness Testing after construction and development is complete.
  • Lead the testing process and assist in the audit of the sites.
  • Collaborate with operators familiar with the buildings to evaluate compliance with design specifications.
  • Establish partnerships with onsite personnel and internal teams to facilitate communication and collaboration.
  • Track project progress and communicate updates to appropriate parties.
  • Support a Program Manager II while also being able to work independently when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in program/project management.
  • Strong organizational skills to track project progress effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Proficient in technology and able to navigate various tools to interpret data.
  • Ability to develop interpersonal relationships with site leaders.
  • Experience with Smartsheet is preferred.
