About the position

The Program Manager/Coordinator role is focused on providing program-level support for client development projects in Big Data and Data Warehousing. This position involves guiding clients in the execution of their data management roadmap, ensuring data quality, and driving governance best practices. The role also includes leading cloud strategy development and overseeing the design and implementation of cloud solutions to meet business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide program level support on client development projects in Big Data and Data Warehouse/Data Lake.
• Guide clients in setting up and executing the roadmap and vision for enterprise data warehouse, big data, BI & analytics, and data management.
• Recommend and drive standards for Data Quality across multiple datasets and governance best practices.
• Partner with client business and technology stakeholders to drive future state architecture for enterprise Data, Reporting, and Analytics platform and solutions.
• Lead Cloud Strategy development and modernization, defining business drivers and cloud adoption roadmap.
• Support technical pre-sales efforts and attend customer meetings as needed, functioning as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Participate and oversee the design of Cloud solutions from conceptual to physical design to meet client business and technical requirements.
• Define architecture/blueprints and advise clients on technology strategy, migration/modernization, and cloud adoption.
• Lead data migration and modernization projects of databases/data warehouses from on-premises to AWS/Google Cloud Platform.

Requirements

• 15+ years of IT experience in Big Data, Data Warehouse, and Data Architecture.
• Experience in implementing large scale projects like modernization and migration of data and applications.
• Experience with RDBMS, Data Warehouse/Data Lake platforms like Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake, and BI and ETL tools like DataStage and Tableau.
• Implementation, management, and tuning experience of Data Warehouse with complex ETL Data Pipelines.
• Experience in Data Modelling, Schema Design, Query Tuning and Optimization, and Data Migration and Integrations.
• Prior project experience in data normalization, metadata management, and source to target data mapping documentation using industry standard tools.
• Prior experience in executing projects in data quality and Data Governance.
• Detailed understanding of Cloud Infrastructure for building and maintaining large data enterprises in cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform.
• Minimum of 3 years of development and implementation of enterprise-level data solutions utilizing large data sets.
• Good knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and PCI.
