About the position

The Program Manager-Philanthropy is responsible for overseeing all annual fundraising activities for the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis Foundation (HSSFF) at designated ministry locations. This role involves managing a portfolio of donors and prospects for annual, major, and planned gift solicitations, as well as leading site-specific fundraising appeals and events. The Program Manager will actively engage with donors, community leaders, and volunteers to enhance fundraising efforts in alignment with HSSFF standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage annual fundraising activities for designated ministry locations.
  • Oversee a donor/prospect portfolio for annual, major, and planned gift solicitations.
  • Lead site-specific fundraising appeals and events.
  • Engage with donors, community leaders, physicians, caregivers, and volunteers in the fundraising process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Philanthropic Studies, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • High School Diploma plus 5 years of related experience in communications, marketing, sales, wealth management, or fundraising may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years of experience in planning and execution of donor/client solicitation or new business activities.
  • Experience with fundraising and data management systems is required, with Raiser's Edge experience highly preferred.
  • Experience with moves management process, including prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship is preferred.
