About the position

The Program Manager will oversee all projects within the assigned program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. This role involves close collaboration with North American functional leaders to link project scope and prioritization to their objectives, while maintaining communication across the organization regarding project goals, timelines, and status. The Program Manager will also guide and support project managers, actively participating in project initiation and closure.

Responsibilities

• Lead all project teams within the assigned program.
• Coach and mentor project managers leading projects within the assigned program.
• Develop strategies for project delivery considering dependencies on other projects.
• Identify resource needs for projects and secure necessary support.
• Participate in recruitment activities for project management roles and support onboarding efforts.
• Follow North American project management governance processes and procedures.
• Maintain and improve tools, templates, and processes used by program and project managers.
• Ensure project managers develop and maintain documentation for project progress.
• Lead and participate in meetings to drive program success and report on progress.
• Deliver clear and accurate communications tailored to the audience.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience required.
• 5+ years of management experience preferred.
• Current member of a professional body of Project, Program or Change Managers preferred.
• Experience with Google's G-Suite of tools preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Project Management or related subject required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
