The Program Manager of Pre-Admission Services (PAS) plays a crucial role in managing the department's operations, including patient flow, care oversight, and staff scheduling. This position collaborates with surgical services leaders and physicians to ensure optimal patient care across multiple facilities, including Robert Packer Hospital and other affiliated centers. The role requires a strong focus on staff development, clinical skills, and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage general department operations including patient flow and staff scheduling.
• Coordinate patient care and staff assignments.
• Support nursing leadership in staff development and clinical competency.
• Oversee care and service for the Pre-Admission Services surgical/procedural population across multiple hospitals.
• Collaborate with surgical services leaders and physicians to enhance patient care.
• Promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
• Demonstrate effective communication and critical thinking skills.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Specialty certification recommended as soon as eligible.
