About the position

The Pricing Transformation and Enablement team at PayPal is seeking a Pricing Enablement Manager to lead global pricing initiatives. This role focuses on program management, requiring strong communication and influence skills to engage various stakeholders effectively. The manager will oversee pricing project execution from inception to steady state, ensuring alignment across multiple teams and successful delivery of pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead the execution of global pricing initiatives across PayPal.
  • Establish clear roles and responsibilities across various stakeholder teams including Legal, Product, Analytics, Finance, and others.
  • Translate requirements into clear project plans and ensure projects are on-track and deliver successfully.
  • Act as a key thought partner in the implementation of pricing across PayPal products and related promotions.
  • Provide consultative guidance on best practices while coordinating overall workflow with necessary resources.
  • Manage the fee page update process, enforcing complex timelines for consolidation, development, QA, and launch of pricing pages.
  • Lead planning and prioritization meetings, identify cross-functional dependencies, and minimize risks.
  • Maintain documentation on pricing-related issues and support remediation efforts across subject matter experts.
  • Establish project health reporting metrics and templates to document and track progress.
  • Lead communication of project status at established cadences.
  • Serve as the Pricing Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cross-functional projects.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in project management within Finance, Pricing, Product, or related tech/business organizations.
  • Ability to simplify complex pricing projects into understandable steps and summarize updates for diverse audiences.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent verbal communication and coordination skills to engage global stakeholders.
  • Strong numerical skills with a fundamental understanding of business KPIs, analytics, metrics, and data flows.
  • Highly skilled in project management tracking and scoping work effectively.
