About the position

The Program Manager for Procedural & Therapeutics at MD Anderson Cancer Center is a pivotal role that reports to the Director of Procedural and Therapeutics Operations. This position is responsible for managing and advancing division-wide projects, enhancing communication and engagement among leadership, and supporting strategic planning activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, analytical abilities, and effective communication skills to coordinate across multiple teams and drive initiatives that align with the division's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and measure division-wide projects such as forums, presentations, and staff engagement initiatives.
  • Create content for division leadership, including PowerPoints, articles, newsletters, and other communication vehicles.
  • Manage the division content library and editorial calendar for newsletters and other communications.
  • Assist with planning division events such as the Annual Awards and Employee Appreciation Month.
  • Set goals and timelines for projects, preparing presentations and written communications for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and attend various meetings related to assigned projects, managing agendas and presentations.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project progress and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Consult on departmental and cross-divisional projects as needed by P&T leadership.
  • Support strategic planning activities and facilitate discussions among division leaders.
  • Collect, analyze, and integrate information to support decision-making processes.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track program progress and optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Five years of related experience, including three years in program management.
