About the position

The Program Manager for Project Warm at YouthBuild Louisville is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of energy conservation programs aimed at assisting low-income households, seniors, and disabled individuals in Jefferson County. This role involves managing program staff, ensuring compliance, fostering partnerships, and coordinating community outreach efforts to recruit clients and volunteers. The Program Manager plays a crucial role in promoting energy-saving practices and improving community health and safety through effective program management and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily execution and coordination of all program components.
  • Schedule program work and manage daily operations.
  • Develop processes and procedures to improve program operations.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with program partners and community organizations.
  • Interface directly with clients and address their requests and concerns.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting to the Board of Directors.
  • Hire, supervise, coordinate, and train program staff.
  • Manage marketing and outreach to recruit clients and volunteers.
  • Assist in preparing grant requests and funding continuation.
  • Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and confidential.
  • Schedule and facilitate program workshops with staff.
  • Measure program success regularly and implement improvements as needed.
  • Purchase or approve necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Keep the YouthBuild Louisville President informed of program progress and needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated organizational, program management, and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining collaborative relationships or coalitions.
  • Experience working with community-based organizations and public agencies.
  • Proven reliability and integrity.
