About the position

The Program Manager for Public Affairs/Strategic Communications at GD Resources LLC will lead strategic communication initiatives, focusing on planning, research, analysis, and outreach. This role is pivotal in developing agile communication strategies and ensuring effective messaging to diverse audiences, while managing large-scale programs and addressing sensitive issues with professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support effective communication planning and decision-making.
  • Develop, edit, and implement various communication products and materials.
  • Provide executive-level communication support and advice.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent, transparent, and strategic messaging across multiple platforms.
  • Address sensitive issues with professionalism and tact, ensuring alignment with organizational values and mission.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in strategic communications, public affairs, and executive communication.
  • Ability to manage complex communication tasks and large-scale programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to various audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing agile communication projects and adapting strategies as needed.
  • Knowledge of communication best practices, process engineering, and technical applications in large-scale programs.
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 15 years of demonstrated professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years of continuous experience at the strategic level.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
