About the position

The Program Manager position at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center focuses on supporting the development, planning, and monitoring of clinical operations programs and projects for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology Services. The role requires strong organizational skills, clinical acumen, and effective communication abilities to ensure successful project execution and strategic program management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the development and implementation of multiple projects for clinical operations for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology Services.
  • Ensure execution of all cross-functional project activities and develop project plans to manage milestones.
  • Communicate project schedules, issues, and risks across multiple projects.
  • Manage and coordinate the optimization, standardization, and integration of clinical operations across divisions and campuses.
  • Facilitate and coordinate clinical operations meetings and manage policy revisions as needed.
  • Track and analyze trends in ongoing programs to guide strategic decision-making in clinical operations.
  • Monitor dashboards, KPIs, and KQIs to assess progress towards optimizing clinical operations.
  • Utilize quantitative data to identify and resolve strategic and operational challenges.
  • Assist in organizing and scheduling regular center rounds and clinical operations meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Five years of related experience, including three years of program management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent clinical acumen.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a salary range of $77,000 - $115,000.
