About the position

The Program Manager for JS Products at JS PRODUCTS is responsible for supporting the worldwide expansion and growth of the company's sales plan. This role involves the implementation, tracking, and optimization of the commercialization and marketing of consumer retail products and professional/industrial products. The Program Manager will work closely with the Sales Segment and the Research & Development team to drive product and program commercialization efforts specific to the Retail sales segment, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Understand functional use of products in assigned categories, including hand tools, work supports, shelving, power tool accessories, and yard/garden equipment.
  • Work directly with the Sales Segment to manage approved product program opportunities.
  • Act as a facilitator and liaison between Sales and R&D, tracking status and driving timelines for product program initiatives.
  • Serve as Project Manager and lead facilitator for Segment Product Opportunity Development (POD) team.
  • Provide technical support, collateral, and new product training for customer service teams.
  • Manage multiple marketing projects from initiation to completion using project management tools like Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Create and manage project timelines, identify deliverables, and coordinate with functional teams for on-time completion.
  • Develop Business Requirement Documentation for new projects to ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Proactively present new business ideas to promote long-term client relationships.
  • Write proposals and documentation to support business efforts.
  • Provide content for commercialization and marketing efforts, including research, writing, editing, and sourcing images.
  • Collaborate with Sales Segment lead to develop product ideas and create programs for positive content generation.
  • Support brand communication projects, including internal campaigns and newsletters.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas and external groups, including vendor management.
  • Handle various project-oriented tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Experience with QA documentation and processes.
  • Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to keep team members and management informed.
  • Client relationship management experience, including gathering business requirements and planning brand marketing initiatives.
  • Understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
  • Product marketing expertise, including analysis of consumer insights and research.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with creativity, energy, and resourcefulness.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining a brand voice.

Nice-to-haves
