About The Position

As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects focused on risk reporting, metrics, and quantification within the Cloud Risk Management team. Your role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure effective project execution, managing risks, and providing transparency to executive leadership. You will be responsible for developing and implementing risk frameworks that empower business leaders to make informed decisions, ultimately contributing to the security and compliance of Google's cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in program or project management.
• 7 years of experience in a leadership role.
• 5 years of experience in information security, compliance, or risk management.
• 5 years of experience with infrastructure systems, security assessments or security processes.

Nice To Haves

• 10 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Knowledge of risk assessments, security threats and risk metrics.
• Knowledge of cloud engineering practices and use cases.

Responsibilities

• Establish a reliable and visible cadence for portfolio reviews, selection making, prioritization, and resource management.
• Motivate measurable program performance gains correlated to execution velocity.
• Manage the curation of risk data across a set of risk areas (e.g., security, compliance, etc.).
• Quantify risk during assessments and over time.
• Report on risks in standard formats to executives, General Managers (GMs), committees and councils.
