About the position

The Program Manager at Hope Network is responsible for overseeing the management of one or more residential homes, ensuring that care provided aligns with personal plans and goals of the individuals served. This role involves hiring, training, and mentoring staff, maintaining compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, and meeting performance targets related to service quality and fiscal viability. The Program Manager plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage one or more Hope Network Residential homes.
  • Hire, train, coach, and mentor direct care staff.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing rules, accreditation standards, and contract requirements.
  • Meet performance targets related to service provision and quality assurance.
  • Plan, organize, and direct service provision while protecting the rights of persons served.
  • Develop and maintain budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Assess and document the progress of persons served in a timely manner.
  • Respond to emergencies and staff needs as they arise.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and maintain communication logs.
  • Implement procedures for routine issues and crisis management.
  • Review and advocate for person-served plans at meetings.
  • Ensure staff are trained and have opportunities for ongoing development.
  • Review incident reports and provide necessary training to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Maintain staffing levels according to program needs and monitor employee time.
  • Develop positive relationships with external funders and licensing bodies.
  • Submit all paperwork and records in a timely manner.
  • Promote safety through training and monitoring safety programs.
  • Ensure safe transportation services and vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate needs and concerns between Hope Network and contracting agencies.
  • Complete monthly billing and maintain petty cash funds.
  • Track monthly financial reports for program compliance.
  • Promote community inclusion of residents through activities.
  • Maintain quality assurance protocols through various audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related area.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
  • Experience in selecting, training, coaching, and managing a diverse team.
  • Ability to support the mission of the corporation to various audiences.
  • Prior employment experience in staff supervision and residential care preferred.
  • Experience in a mental health or rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Ability to schedule and plan work effectively.
  • Knowledge of technological advances relevant to the position.
  • Valid motor vehicle operator license with acceptable driving records.
  • Ability to work independently with flexible hours.
