About the position

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a large-scale Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation for a major financial institution (CIBC). This is a critical role requiring someone with deep subject matter expertise in the marketing space, particularly within large organizations, financial institutions (FIs), or telecommunications companies (Telcos). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a $25MM program, coordinating across multiple lines of business (LOBs), and driving the initiative forward with minimal oversight. The role is primarily focused on overseeing and managing the program's financial aspects, ensuring that the implementation aligns with the strategic goals of the organization. The Program Manager will lead the implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud across a large-scale organization, managing and overseeing program budgets, specifically focusing on the $25MM initiative. This position requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as the Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project. The candidate will attend core onsite meetings, typically on Wednesdays or the 3rd Friday of each month, with flexibility for additional in-person meetings as required. This high-visibility role demands someone who can deliver immediate value to the project and effectively coordinate with individual work stream PMs across multiple LOBs. The ideal candidate must be a Canadian citizen with at least 5 years of experience working in Canada, particularly within the banking or fintech sector. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked for organizations like RBC, TD, BMO, Manulife, Scotia, EQ Bank, National Bank, OTPP, CPPIB, OMERS, or TMX. This role does not involve team management responsibilities, allowing the Program Manager to focus solely on the financial and strategic aspects of the program implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud across a large-scale organization.
  • Manage and oversee program budgets, specifically focusing on a $25MM initiative.
  • Coordinate with individual work stream PMs across multiple lines of business (LOBs).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Attend core onsite meetings, typically on Wednesdays or the 3rd Friday of each month, with flexibility for additional in-person meetings as required.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Program Management, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale programs within financial institutions (FIs), telecommunications companies (Telcos), or similar sectors.
  • Extensive experience working with multiple application platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of leading large-scale initiatives from day one.
  • Must be a Canadian citizen, with at least 5 years of experience working in Canada, particularly within the banking or fintech sector.
