About the position

The SDE Program Leader is a pivotal role within Insulet's Supplier Engineering group, responsible for overseeing governance and project management of supplier development engineering projects. This position involves collaboration with various departments to ensure project alignment, financial accuracy, and effective use of project management tools. The Program Leader will also mentor project managers and engineers, develop key performance indicators, and manage a significant project budget, contributing to the overall success of Insulet's operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and implement a project management system that includes feasibility, project, and financial governance.
• Develop KPI's and metrics associated with all SDE projects that are transparent and easily accessible through Power BI.
• Lead all Project governance meetings to manage project intake and prioritization.
• Drive financial rigor with governance mechanisms to ensure financial accuracy.
• Coordinate with FP&A finance team to support CAPEX and OPEX financial operating rhythm.

Requirements

• BS Engineering/CS/Science Degree.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated development of governance/PM systems.
• Minimum 2 years of direct project management experience.
• 8+ years of career experience in Operations, IT, Engineering, or related function.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree a plus.
• Experience directly managing projects from feasibility through launch.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capital and Project Financial acumen.
• Familiarity with Power Apps, Power BI, Smartsheet, MS project, SAP.
• Six Sigma Process Improvement Experience/Certification desirable.
