About the position

The Program Manager for the Self Determination Program at Kern Regional Center is responsible for supervising and coordinating a team of Service Coordinators and other personnel. Responsibilities

• Supervise, assign, schedule, coordinate, and evaluate a group of Service Coordinators and other assigned personnel.
• Oversee the Self Determination Program and assist individuals in transitioning to this program.
• Identify barriers to service delivery and collaborate to find solutions.
• Provide timely and responsive customer service to individuals and families.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• Four years of increasingly responsible experience in programs serving the developmentally disabled.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
• Two years of administrative assistant experience.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Strong overall computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation.
