About the position

The Senior Project Manager for Innovation Programs will lead and manage complex projects aimed at fostering innovation and implementing emerging technologies within U.S. government agencies. This role involves overseeing all aspects of project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The position requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of project management best practices, with a focus on driving change and innovation through collaboration with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource requirements, and milestones.
• Lead and manage projects focused on integrating emerging technologies into government operations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for government clients, contractors, and team members.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation projects from conception to completion.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Implement and refine project management methodologies to improve project efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and government standards.

Requirements
