About the position

The Program Manager, Senior at Torch Technologies is responsible for overseeing the Enterprise Logistics Super Portfolio, which focuses on the acquisition, fielding, delivery, and maintenance of management information systems that enhance logistics readiness and support warfighting capabilities. This role requires a highly motivated individual with extensive experience in program management within the Department of Defense (DoD).

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs using qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Assist the program manager in assessing program schedules and cost baselines, recommending viable solutions to problems and alternative courses of action.
  • Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms, providing quality acquisition and program documentation such as briefings and plans.
  • Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition related to the development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment.
  • Formulate plans and recommend effective strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports like the Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) or Monthly Activity Report (MAR).
  • Support program management reviews, senior-level meetings, and Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) reviews.
  • Develop various briefings and schedules of program status and acquisition tasks for senior management.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field with ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, five years of which must be in the DoD.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, five of which must be in the DoD.
  • 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, eight of which must be in the DoD.
  • Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to maintain it.
