About the position

The Program Manager Sr at FlightSafety International is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated programs to ensure that goals are accomplished within specified time frames and budget constraints. This role involves managing complex programs and may include overseeing lower-level Program Managers, ensuring effective program execution and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Establishes program plan, budget, and staffing needs for each phase of assigned program(s) and collaborates with managers for personnel assignment.
• Reviews labor and material expenditures and manages the program budget.
• Reviews progress payments and status reports prepared by program personnel.
• Confers with program staff to outline work plans and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Directs and coordinates activities of program personnel to support program quality, schedule, and budget.
• Modifies schedules or plans as required based on program status reports.
• Prepares program reports for management, customers, or other stakeholders.
• Works with stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
• Coordinates program activities with regulatory authorities or governmental agencies.
• Supports published Quality Management System (QMS) and Business Processes.
• Provides training and guidance to department members and mentors less senior teammates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferred; PMP certification is required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Specialized knowledge and ability to accomplish highly advanced level tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Windows, and Outlook.
