About the position

The Program Manager for SSD Ops Integration at Amazon is responsible for leading and executing strategic, cross-functional operations and technology projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency of Same Day operations. This role requires a robust understanding of fulfillment operations, including inventory flows and quality management, to drive innovation and process improvements. The Program Manager will work closely with various teams to develop new tools and systems, manage project timelines, and communicate effectively with senior management regarding project status and risks.

Responsibilities

  • Driving innovation that improves under-the-roof processes and reduces costs in the fulfillment and delivery network.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to plan, organize, execute, and standardize complex projects to meet 2024 goals.
  • Gathering and analyzing data across fulfillment and delivery functions to establish global operational standards.
  • Analyzing and solving operational barriers by understanding root causes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Developing best practices for internal operations at Amazon.
  • Leveraging analytics to support the future state of the business.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • 3+ years of experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Experience in building processes, project management, and schedules.
