About the position

Handles the responsibility for the managing, planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating of operational activities for Valley Health Partners Community Health Center (VHPCHC) Program. Ensures patient access, financial performance, efficient operations, effective growth, colleague development, and optimal patient experience takes place.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises departmental operations, regulatory compliance, staff development, financial management, patient outreach, record retention, and policy development.
  • Develops, manages, monitors, and evaluates the work plan and outcomes for successful project implementation.
  • Facilitates performance management of all reports including hiring, counseling and discipline, performance evaluation, professional development, retention, and training.
  • Addresses performance issues promptly, fairly, and appropriately using sound judgment in compliance with organizational policy and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manages and monitors project related budgets.
  • Encourages a culture of professional development and fosters a sense of teamwork across practices, leveraging the triad leadership teams.
  • Creates, nurtures, and maintains working relationships with the program staff and collaborative members.
  • Coordinates the purchasing of any materials needed to successfully implement and maintain the program.
  • Assumes operational responsibility in the absence of their supervisor or other appropriate members of the Program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health, Public Health, Business Administration or equivalent required.
  • In lieu of degree, four years of additional relevant experience required.
  • Two years of experience in healthcare, preferably in a clinic setting.
  • Healthcare lead/leadership experience required.
  • Two years' relevant supervisory experience in a community health center or Federally Qualified Health center or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Health, Public Health, Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
