About the position

The Program Manager - Structures at BETA Technologies is responsible for leading the program management of aircraft structures from design through production to certification. This role involves collaboration with various internal and external teams, ensuring the successful execution of complex programs while driving operational excellence and meeting customer expectations. Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple program work streams & projects within the manufacturing domain.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, safety, supply chain, and production operations teams to coordinate program activities and resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on program status, risks, and opportunities.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
• Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with company targets.
• Provide guidance and support to junior program managers and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field
• 7+ years of project or program management experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably in composite and/or aerospace
• Proven track record of managing complex projects or programs from inception to completion
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead teams
• Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Excellent organizational skills without predetermined structure
• Pragmatic and creative thinker when solving complex problems in a dynamic environment
• Willingness to be a team player and adapt to varying needs
• Familiar with Microsoft Office/G-Suite, Project Management software (i.e. Microsoft Project, Jira, etc.), 3D CAD design software

• Familiarity with aerospace regulations
• Experience managing a product through the FAA certification process
• Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software systems
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
