About the position

As a Program Manager for Supplemental Funding Sources at Amazon Career Choice, you will be responsible for researching, designing, implementing, and evaluating funding models to support the growth of the Career Choice program. This role requires a deep understanding of the funding landscape, including federal and state financial aid options, and the ability to work cross-functionally to develop strategies that enhance access to educational resources for employees. You will play a key role in shaping the future of the Career Choice funding ecosystem, ensuring a seamless experience for participants and school partners.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research to understand the existing Career Choice funding landscape, including available sources and application processes.
  • Develop innovative strategies to expand access to supplemental resources like FAFSA, Pell Grants, and state workforce funds.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to design and implement new funding solutions.
  • Evaluate data sharing requirements and stakeholder interactions for various funding sources to create seamless experiences.
  • Track the impact and outcomes of newly implemented funding models and use data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Demonstrated track record of securing supplemental funding for educational initiatives.
  • Strong program management and project delivery skills.
  • Proficient data analysis and visualization capabilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in complex problem solving and working in a tight schedule environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of higher education funding mechanisms, including FAFSA and Pell Grants.
  • Familiarity with the Amazon Career Choice program and challenges faced by employees in accessing educational opportunities.
