About the position

The Program Manager - Tactical Communications at ADS, Inc. is responsible for managing relationships with government customers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and driving sales and growth within the C5ISR team. This role involves overseeing the acquisition lifecycle, addressing customer needs, and providing solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Directly interface with subcontractors and/or U.S. Government on contractual issues.
  • Host kick-off meetings and program reviews as directed or requested by customers.
  • Work on quality assurance paperwork and attend inspection and acceptance meetings.
  • Analyze and provide risk mitigation techniques to prevent supply chain disruption.
  • Ensure solution configurations meet customer requirements.
  • Overcome issues with end-of-life products.
  • Proactively manage Integrated Master Schedules to avoid unforeseen technical/contractual issues.
  • Ensure contractual compliance, emphasizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12 and part 15 procedures.
  • Initiate change management processes and coordinate with OEMs, customers, and ADS Sales & Purchasing.
  • Ensure flow-down terms and conditions are accurate and agreed upon with subcontractors.
  • Provide timely and efficient resolution of customer disputes or discrepancies.
  • Timely input and retrieval of contract information to/from electronic portals.
  • Work with Program Finance to accurately forecast and track invoices through to payment.
  • Manage contract deliverables including CDRL submission and tracking as required.
  • Track and coordinate special shipping requirements with freight forwarders and ADS operational team to meet contractual milestones.
  • Assist with shipping documentation such as commercial invoices, packing slips, and valued inventory.
  • Review, analyze, and negotiate subcontracts with assistance.
  • Coordinate and participate in weekly/bi-weekly syncs with internal teammates to track schedule, cost, and performance of open orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (experience may be substituted at hiring manager's discretion).
  • 5-7 years' experience in a related position.
  • 5 years' experience in commercial or USG program management.
  • Superb written and oral communication skills.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience resolving contract modifications.
