About the position

Parsons is seeking a Program Manager for the TEAMS Next Missile Defense System Engineering Contract. This role involves leading a large support contract for the Missile Defense Agency, managing a team of over 800 staff members, and ensuring the successful execution of contract deliverables. The Program Manager will interface with government stakeholders, coordinate staff efforts, control costs, and engage with customers to identify growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct the execution of a support contract with over 800 staff members.
  • Interface with the government contracting office and engineering technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure deliverables are provided within the required timeline.
  • Coordinate staff efforts to demonstrate collaboration across the contract.
  • Organize team efforts to ensure priority tasks are staffed and executed for the government team.
  • Control cost and labor hour execution within established ceilings.
  • Engage with customers to ensure the program meets government needs for technical support and contract execution.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for organic growth on existing contracts.
  • Track opportunities for follow-on work to ensure continuation of efforts for the engineering staff.
  • Establish trust with government customers, Parsons staff, and subcontract partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 20 years of Program Management experience.
  • Master's Degree in a field related to leading large complex efforts.
  • Top Secret Clearance.
  • Experience managing contract efforts within the Missile Defense Agency.
  • Established relationships with leaders across MDA's acquisition, contracting, and engineering organizations.
  • Experience leading a large, geographically diverse organization.
  • Understanding of contracting regulations and organizational conflict of interest.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop staff members.
