About the position

The Program Manager role at Molina Healthcare of Texas serves as the CDS Ambassador, focusing on supporting members who wish to utilize the consumer-directed service option for their benefits. This position is pivotal in managing internal business projects and programs, ensuring effective delivery from design to completion while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal business projects and programs involving cross-functional teams to deliver products through the design process to completion.
• Plan and direct project schedules and budgets.
• Monitor projects from inception through delivery.
• Engage and oversee the work of external vendors as needed.
• Focus on process improvement, organizational change management, and program management.
• Lead and manage teams in planning and executing business programs.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in the functional area and lead programs to meet critical needs.
• Communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze and transform needs into functional requirements.
• Provide recommendations on opportunities for process improvements to operational leaders.
• Create business requirements documents, test plans, and user training materials.
• Generate and distribute standard reports on schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of Program and/or Project management experience.
• Operational Process Improvement experience.
• Healthcare experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Experience partnering with different levels of leadership across the organization.

Nice-to-haves

• Graduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years of Program and/or Project management experience.
• Managed Care experience.
• Experience working in a cross-functional highly matrixed organization.
• PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and/or comparable coursework.
