About the position

The Program Manager at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is responsible for developing and sustaining community relationships to enhance the Club's presence and programs. This role involves leading partnerships with community organizations and schools, ensuring compliance with programming requirements, and evaluating program effectiveness to meet the needs of youth. The Program Manager plays a crucial role in creating an outcome-driven experience for children and youth in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain relationships with community organizations and regional school systems.
  • Lead and cultivate partnerships to advance programs at the Club site.
  • Ensure all foundational programming requirements are met, including curriculum-based programs.
  • Track and report all grant requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to programs based on youth needs and interests.
  • Assist with performance management and development of employees.
  • Support site-level onboarding of new hires and monitor timekeeping records for payroll.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited institution in education, human or social services, or a related field.
  • At least two years of direct service experience with youth.
  • At least one year of demonstrated supervisory experience.
  • Experience in planning and implementing youth programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Spanish speaker.
  • Previous experience working with youth.
  • Teaching certificate or background in education.
