About the position

The Program Manager for Vaccine Acceptance & Delivery (VAD) will play a crucial role in advancing vaccination programs and partnerships within the global health community. This position focuses on implementing research to address challenges in vaccine acceptance, demand, and delivery, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. The Program Manager will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to support programmatic growth and contribute to evidence-based policy and program development.

Responsibilities

  • Support the expansion of VAD's implementation research program portfolio.
  • Conduct literature reviews on key topics related to vaccine acceptance and delivery.
  • Map key stakeholders and conduct key informant interviews.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Support development and maintenance of annual workplans to meet project objectives.
  • Assist with all stages of VAD-issued request for proposal (RfP) development.
  • Manage and engage grant partners throughout project lifecycles.
  • Conduct and maintain partner mapping across teams.
  • Support VAD in strengthening its Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning (MEL) framework.
  • Contribute to routine project-based reports for funding organizations and partners.
  • Prepare and present workstream updates at team meetings.
  • Collaborate across the organization to advance priorities.
  • Support business development by co-designing research proposal concepts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; higher degree preferred.
  • 7+ years relevant experience; international development or global health experience in vaccine program implementation is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word) and Zoom; experience with Salesforce and Airtable preferred.
  • Knowledge of implementation science theories, frameworks, and research approaches.
  • Proven experience in designing and conducting implementation science studies.
  • Strong qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with external partners and co-design programs and research studies.
  • Experience in conducting literature reviews and stakeholder mapping exercises.
  • Experience with economic evaluations is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with database creation and data visualization is preferred.
  • Proficient in citation management software (e.g., EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero).
  • Experience developing donor reports and programmatic reports.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills in English; French language skills preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in drafting, proofreading, and editing complex documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
