About the position

As a Program Manager for Vendor Change Management at Meta, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and executing multiple small to large-scale projects that support our product and operations partners. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that these projects progress smoothly, flagging any potential issues or delays while maintaining respectful relationships, even in challenging situations. You will focus on continuous process improvement by scoping tool enhancements, utilizing data analytics to improve key performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize outcomes. In this role, you will communicate prioritization and trade-off operational decisions to the broader cross-functional team, driving consensus and ensuring that these decisions are effectively implemented. You will facilitate discussions and coordination among operational stakeholders across the company, managing existing resources in the most effective manner. Additionally, you will advocate for our Vendor Partners, working closely with engineering, policy, training, and other operational teams to ensure the smooth rollout of changes. You will need to manage dynamic and growing requirements with limited guidance, prioritizing competing needs with sound reasoning and creative solutions. The ability to seamlessly shift between strategic and tactical environments is essential. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation standards and procedural expectations, using SQL queries to retrieve data and conduct analysis to support data-driven decision-making processes. Your contributions will extend to program processes, tracking tools, and general project management best practices, initiating improvements as necessary to scale effectively as the organization grows. Telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted, providing flexibility in your work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning and execution for multiple small to large-scale Vendor Change Management projects.
  • Accountable for project progress, flagging when projects or deadlines are in jeopardy while maintaining respectful relationships.
  • Focus on continuous process improvement by scoping tool improvements and utilizing data analytics.
  • Communicate prioritization and trade-off operational decisions to the broader cross-functional team.
  • Facilitate discussion and coordination among operational stakeholders across the company.
  • Manage Meta's cross-functional operational efforts and advocate for Vendor Partners.
  • Manage dynamic and growing requirements with limited guidance and prioritize competing needs.
  • Seamlessly shift between strategic and tactical environments.
  • Create and maintain documentation standards and procedural expectations.
  • Use SQL queries to retrieve data and conduct analysis to support data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Contribute to program processes, tracking tools, and project management best practices.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Three years of work experience in job offered or in a Technology Management-related occupation.
  • Experience delivering organizational changes, such as new and updated business processes, tools, SOPs, and policies.
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs that include coordinating planning, development, and delivery of interrelated initiatives.
  • Experience managing operational or technical projects such as process optimizations and external risk mitigations.
  • Experience with data and metadata collection across core business processes and performing ETL operations via SQL.
  • Experience developing and validating metrics/KPIs.
  • Experience building, disseminating, and maintaining analytics via data visualization tools (Tableau).
  • Experience developing written training materials addressing different operational processes and technical topics.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement and business processes.
