About the position

The Program Manager - Virtual Care is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of Central Health's Virtual Care operations. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance patient access to care through telephonic and video-based services, while ensuring adherence to operational protocols and standards. The position is hybrid, allowing for both remote and on-site work based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director of Operations - Navigation Center and the Associate Chief Medical Officer to manage the Central Health Virtual Care Program.
  • Oversee clinical stakeholder adoption and integration of workflows into the Central Health Golden Standard Workflow.
  • Continuously refine Virtual Care operational approaches to meet industry standards in healthcare delivery.
  • Develop and implement Virtual Care services across Central Health Specialties and Service Lines.
  • Lead the development of key metrics to track clinical outcomes and program performance.
  • Monitor patient and clinical team experiences related to Virtual Care modalities.
  • Develop communication strategies to provide leadership with performance, operational, and financial updates.
  • Collaborate with Patient Access team to optimize EHR and patient portal for effective Virtual Care delivery.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Virtual Care Program projects and operational requests.
  • Stay current on regulatory requirements affecting access and product line development.
  • Pursue professional growth and training to remain updated on telehealth industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related healthcare field.
  • 2 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models, including predictive models.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related healthcare field.
  • 3 years of progressively responsible experience in the healthcare industry with telehealth or telemedicine program development.
