About the position

The Program Manager (w/ Shopping Experience, eCommerce) role at V-Soft Consulting involves overseeing large, complex initiatives in a high-tech development environment. The position requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to lead multi-function project teams. The Program Manager will be responsible for promoting team empowerment, managing risks, and ensuring project deliverables meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Promote empowerment of the team and ensure full engagement of each team member.
• Manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans and perform delivery planning for assigned initiatives.
• Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables and stakeholder communications.
• Establish cadence and facilitate team ceremonies.
• Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for initiatives.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Track and report on team and project KPIs such as Velocity, Burndown, Cycle time, Lead time, etc.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, partners, and vendors.

Requirements

• CSM, SSM or PSM certification required.
• Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior experience in software development as an analyst, tester, developer, or project manager.
• Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development initiatives.
• Experience managing and delivering large, complex initiatives in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams.
• Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• SASM, CSP, SPS or other advanced certification preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams.
