UHY LLP is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Divestiture Director to join their team in Skokie, IL. This is a full-time, direct hire position that offers a competitive salary ranging from $170,000 to $200,000 per year. The role is hybrid, requiring some travel, and focuses on managing major transformation programs, including site consolidations and closures. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program, ensuring that deadlines are met, progress is monitored, and status reports are provided to stakeholders. In this position, the Director will manage the financials of the projects and programs, taking full responsibility, authority, and accountability for delivering the documented project scope. This includes successful execution within the technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments. The role requires championing cross-functional engagement across the business and facilitating the implementation of program management processes and standard work. The Director will actively engage with core team members assigned to the program or project, providing clear objectives and direction to ensure successful outcomes. Additionally, the Director will utilize change management processes, act as a business interface with customers, and ensure organizational responsiveness to meet expectations and requirements. The role involves creating comprehensive plans that account for risks, requirements, and lessons learned, as well as using formal risk management and mitigation processes. Regular updates will be provided to all levels of stakeholders, utilizing formal communication methodologies to keep the business informed about contractual milestones and any high-risk areas. The Director will also seek team input to promote rapid resolution of issues, ensuring the program's success.
