About the position

SAIC is seeking a Program Manager to provide project management support within the Cyber Security Division. The role involves tracking initiatives, managing documentation, and developing project artifacts aligned with NOAA's cyber security priorities. The Program Manager will lead project review meetings, monitor key performance indicators, and drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management support services to track assigned initiatives within the Cyber Security Division utilizing Smartsheet.
  • Support program and project management documentation including preparing and maintaining project schedules, risk registers, project health trackers, and project budgets.
  • Develop program and project artifacts such as quality assurance plans, charters, project management plans, and implementation plans in alignment with NOAA's cyber security priorities.
  • Lead regular project review meetings, providing insights and recommendations to address issues and optimize project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data calls, vulnerability management, and compliance activities.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to vulnerability management and data call responses.
  • Support senior leadership with dashboards, presentations, and speaker notes on operational status, risks, and compliance matters.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist the High-Value Asset (HVA) program with project management and coordination.
  • Manage and optimize data call processes, including tracking requests, compiling responses, and maintaining documentation.
  • Oversee compliance reporting and documentation, such as responses to regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Fifteen or more years of professional experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to pass a background check
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience in managing High-Value Assets (HVAs), data calls, vulnerability management, or similar compliance-related activities
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
  • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
