About the position

The Program Manager at MyPath is responsible for coordinating daily routines and activities for individuals with disabilities, providing supervision and support to students in various settings. This role involves mentoring, training staff, and ensuring the implementation of individual treatment plans while fostering a safe and supportive environment for both students and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates daily routines and activities for the assigned site, including individual and general treatment programs.
  • Provides supervision, coaching, and support to students in various settings, assisting with daily living activities and social skills.
  • Conducts team meetings and facilitates treatment discussions, ensuring thorough documentation and distribution of meeting minutes.
  • Provides coaching and feedback to staff regarding performance and conducts bi-weekly meetings to discuss student progress.
  • Meets regularly with the Program Coordinator to discuss student and team-related topics.
  • Participates in medication reviews and provides behavioral observations for assessment.
  • Creates and maintains staff schedules to ensure appropriate supervision levels for students.
  • Performs human resource management functions for direct reports, including interviewing, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Completes portions of the Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) and supports agency treatment approaches for students.
  • Functions as a teacher's aide during school hours, assisting students to meet classroom expectations.
  • Informs staff of students' activities, behaviors, and medical concerns, completing necessary agency forms.
  • Plans and implements activity schedules and events for students, providing transportation as needed.
  • Monitors purchasing of supplies and submits expense reports for assigned company credit card.
  • May assist with medication administration, meal planning, and daily housekeeping tasks.
  • Maintains awareness of assigned students' health, safety, and welfare, reinforcing safety rules and regulations.
  • Contributes to the cleanliness and overall appearance of the site and communicates any needed repairs.
  • Follows agency policies regarding reporting suspected student abuse and maintains a positive, respectful demeanor.
  • Attends conferences and training to stay abreast of current trends in the field.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a social or behavioral science field preferred.
  • One (1) year experience in residential services or three (3) years working with children with developmental disabilities required.
  • One (1) year supervisory experience required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in therapeutic settings supporting individuals with dual diagnoses required.
  • Age 21 or older required.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems effectively.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain self-control in high-stress situations.
  • Effective working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
