About the position

The Program Manager will be responsible for driving multiple cross-functional programs within a large company, particularly in the retail or e-commerce sectors. This role requires a strong background in program management, software development methodologies, and the ability to navigate complex environments to ensure timely delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Drive multiple cross-functional programs from end-to-end.
• Facilitate project kickoffs, technical design discussions, planning, and prioritization.
• Partner with product, engineering, design, and stakeholders to manage dependencies and define schedules.
• Manage blockers, risks, issues, and scope changes to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead program review updates and share status to provide clarity on program health.
• Continuously identify and implement improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies.
• Foster a collaborative working environment for teams.
• Proactively identify and solve complex problems quickly and succinctly.
• Coach teams to increase their efficiency and productivity through Agile processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of related experience in program management.
• Proven ability to drive results in a matrixed or influence-based environment.
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies (SDLC, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, Agile Principles, SAFe).
• Ability to manage competing priorities and schedules effectively.
• Excellent organization and planning skills with effective visuals.
• Strong relationship building skills and high business acumen.
• Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
• Highly accurate and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Possess a strong technical foundation for facilitating technical discussions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach.
• Experience driving Agile transformation in an organization.
• Retail or e-commerce industry experience.
• Experience delivering end-to-end mobile app solutions.
• Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework principles and practices.
• JIRA/Confluence power user.
• Previous development experience.
