About the position

The Program Manager at AMIB, Inc. is responsible for overseeing services provided to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities and visual impairments in a group home setting. This role involves leading a team to create community engagement opportunities for residents, managing program coordination, staff growth, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with state and agency policies. The position emphasizes a commitment to enhancing the lives of residents by focusing on their abilities rather than disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor services for individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities and visual impairments in a group home environment.
  • Lead a team to create opportunities for residents to engage in community activities.
  • Oversee program coordination and growth of staff and individuals.
  • Manage scheduling and budgeting for the program.
  • Implement Individual Service Plan (ISP) goals and ensure adherence to all state and agency policies and procedures.
  • Handle on-call responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of direct service support experience.
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Valid Driver's License in NJ with no more than 5 points.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferable.
  • Satisfactory background and pre-employment drug testing.

Nice-to-haves
