About the position

The Program Manager position at Orange County Government is responsible for overseeing education and outreach efforts related to the Office of Tenant Services. Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate one or more major programs or projects related to tenant services.
  • Supervise subordinate staff members assigned to various work locations.
  • Implement outreach programs that assist citizens in accessing resources and educational media.
  • Conduct training and educational sessions for tenants and landlords.
  • Develop and distribute educational materials and resources through various channels.
  • Maintain regular outreach efforts with the rental community, including workshops and events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a closely related field.
  • Two years of supervisory or team leadership experience in community services programs or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated knowledge of national, state, and local laws related to tenant rights and protections within 6 months.
  • Experience or training in large and small group facilitation.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
