About the position

The Program Manager is responsible for the efficient management of planning, scope development, analysis, design, documentation, and review of projects under major Civil Works and Support for Others programs. This role involves providing expert project management for various reservoir project operations and studies, including flood plains, river control structures, flood walls, bridges, dams, environmental restoration, recreation features, and levees.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall planning, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects under Civil Works or alternate programs.
  • Coordinate the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental restoration for major projects.
  • Manage project schedule milestones and budgets from planning through construction and initial operations.
  • Review and approve project cost and schedule changes within provided authorities.

Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience providing support for the development of scopes, schedules, and budgets for civil works, environmental, military construction, or similar multi-purpose projects (GS-12).
  • One year of specialized experience developing complex scopes, schedules, and budgets for multiple civil works, environmental, military construction, or similar multi-purpose funded projects (GS-13).
