Program Manager

About the position

ValidaTek is searching for a Program Manager to oversee an IT infrastructure program that provides a common view for all enterprise-wide capabilities, supported by structured processes, priorities, knowledge sharing, and focus on performance management. This program provides our customer clear lines of accountability and will drive execution. The Program Manager has ultimate responsibility for the strategic vision and successful delivery of the program with frequent communication to the customer and ValidaTek leadership. This role also has fiduciary responsibility for revenue generation and will provide leadership that motivates and rewards team members for outstanding performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage an infrastructure team.
• Ensure the program meets and exceeds accepted standards and best practices for IT/Network operations in a 24x7x365 environment.
• Act as the single point of contact for the customer.
• Perform work in a cleared environment and follow all relevant rules and regulations to safeguard classified information.
• Focus on continual process improvement.
• Manage long-distance CONUS travel as dictated by the requirements of the contracting officer and the contracting office.

Requirements

• 10+ years of program management experience with 5+ of those years in a DoD environment.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge in planning, directing, and management projects/operations in an organization similar in size to the work being done for the customer.
• Demonstrated experience with researching and fielding new and innovative technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in the procurement of IT hardware and software.
• PMP certification.
• ITIL Foundations certification.
• DoD 8570 IAM level II certification.
• Current TS clearance and SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field; master's degree preferred.
