About the position

The Program Manager at Cayuse Native Hawaiian Veterans, LLC (CNHV) is responsible for overseeing complex projects, particularly in the telecommunications and wireless networks sector. This role involves project planning, coordination, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while managing subcontractors and client relationships. The Program Manager will also monitor project performance, manage budgets, and provide post-implementation support to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure the project stays on track.
  • Coordinate and monitor the work of subcontractors responsible for design, solution architecture, equipment procurement, and encryption.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the client, ensuring that all client expectations are managed and met.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks related to project performance, budget, and schedule.
  • Ensure the project adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the specific requirements of the contract.
  • Monitor project costs, approve invoices, and ensure adherence to the budget, including the management of bonding and financial reporting.
  • Track and report on project progress, ensuring that all deliverables meet the agreed-upon quality standards and are delivered on time.
  • Oversee warranty and post-installation support, ensuring a seamless transition for long-term system maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Project Management, or a related field is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or an equivalent certification is required.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in managing complex projects in telecommunications, wireless networks, IT infrastructure, or construction.
  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, wireless networks, or similar infrastructure projects is essential.
  • Experience managing subcontractors is critical, with a proven track record of coordinating multiple external teams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets of similar size and scope.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Project Management, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Experience managing government-funded contracts is highly preferred.
  • Experience with financial management software such as Costpoint is a plus.
  • Experience in risk management and compliance with federal and state regulations is preferred.
